Individual awards (no cash given) will be given to the top 50% in every age group. Medals, ribbons and other special awards will be used. Awards are customized for the competition. Each first place AA finisher will receive a specially designed award. Everyone will walk away a winner at this meet! All athletes will receive a special commemorative gift.
Team awards (no cash given) will be given to the top three teams in each level of competition and will be based on the top 3 scores per event. (Must Register!)
OVER $2000 IN ADDITIONAL CASH AWARDS! - Given to Top 3 Compulsory teams, and Top 3 Optional teams (no registration necessary). Team scores for cash awards are taken from all compulsory levels for the Compulsory Team and all optional levels for the Optional Team. For ex., a compulsory team score could be made up from one level 4, one level 5, and one level 6 gymnast.

1 st Place -- $200, 2 nd Place -- $100, 3 rd Place -- $50

Level 4 = 9 & under, 10 & over
Level 5 = 7-9, 10-11, 12 & over
Level 6 = 7-9, 10-12, 13 & over
Level 7 = 7-9, 10, 11, 12-13, 14 & over
Level 8 = 8-10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & over
Level 9 = Jr. A (born 07/01/91 & later), Jr. B (born 04/01/90 - 06/30/91)
Sr. A (born 11/01/88 - 03/31/90),
Sr. B (born 10/31/88 & earlier)
Level 10 = A (born 07/01/90 & later), B (born 08/01/88 - 06/30/90), C (born 06/01/87 - 07/31/88), D (born 05/31/87 & later)
(Age groups for Levels 7-10 are per Texas R & P.)

All AAI equipment will be used and all will be available for purchase (See Nick Aken at NRA Gym Supply).

This event will be held at this invitational, but will be conducted completely separate from the rest of the competition. Those Texas teams eligible will receive separate entry information at the appropriate time. Level 7 gymnasts that are entered into the South State meet may also enter the Houston Team Cup on Friday evening. (See the Houston Team Cup page.)
